Again this summer, Fort Detrick leadership is doing their part to support the Gains in the Education of Mathematics and Science program hosted by Hood College.
U.S. Army Garrison leaders recently spent three days together developing a long-range plan to align Fort Detrick with Installation Management Command Lines of Efforts. The team-building event was kicked off by a staff ride to Gettysburg National Battlefield, where Sgt. 1st Class Charles Warren of the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command Headquarters Detachment provided a historical account of the battle. The purpose of the staff ride was to think strategically about how decision making affected the outcome of the battle.
