The AFRH consists of the U.S. Soldiers' and Airmen's Home (USSAH) in Washington, D.C. and the U.S. Naval Home (USNH) in Gulfport, Miss. Both homes are continuing care retirement communities open to all branches of the military and provide the highest quality of residential, social and health care services to retirees and certain veterans.
AER is the Army's own emergency financial assistance organization and is dedicated to "Helping the Army Take Care of Its Own". AER provides commanders a valuable asset in accomplishing their basic command responsibility for the morale and welfare of soldiers.
