Does Your Building Have an Automated External Defibrillator?

If so, it's time to change the batteries and pads.

Approximately 100 Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) were placed throughout the installation in mid-2015. Two years later, and according to the manufacturer, the batteries and pads in those AEDs need to be replaced by June 28, 2017.

Replacements are available on GSA Advantage at https://www.gsaadvantage.gov for about $90 a piece.
Lastly, in an effort to ensure that anyone at Fort Detrick has access to a working AED, the fire department requests notification of when the parts are replaced by emailing them directly at: usarmy.detrick.usag.mbx.fes-station-50@mail.mil or by calling 301-619-3159.
