Sports & Fitness Program

The Fort Detrick Child, Youth & School Services (CYSS) Sports & Fitness Program offers various opportunities for children to participate in sports. The program provides support for children, ages 3-18 years to encourage healthy, life-long habits. Volunteer coaches are needed to help make our youth sports a success. All coaches are trained and certified by the National Alliance of Youth Sports (NAYS). Players must be registered with CYSS in order to enroll in a sport.

Volunteer Coaches

Volunteer coaches are always needed. Volunteers are the backbone of all Youth Services sports programs. The sports fee for the first child will be waived if a parent is selected as a head coach. Anyone interested, please contact the Youth Sports Office for more information.
