Barquist Army Health Clinic will provide the H1N1 vaccination/nasal mist (currently only nasal mist) and seasonal mist/injections every Monday – Thursday 1400-1600. Due to limited supplies of the H1N1 and seasonal influenza vaccine and current guidance only certain target groups may be eligible to obtain the H1N1 Vaccine.

Updated information regarding the receipt of the H1N1 vaccine shot and dates for service members and DOD civilians will be posted as soon as it comes available. Due to rapid changes in supply and guidelines the most up to date information can be known by calling the flu information line at 301-619-6921.

Description of Access to Care Standards:

  1. Acute = Urgent care that require treatment within 24 hours.
  2. Established = follow-up appointment with the PCM that is not for acute, routine, wellness or specialty care within 28 days.
  3. Routine = patients who require an office visit with their PCM for new non-urgent health care problem within 7 days.
  4. Specialty = initial consult or referral appointment to a specialist or an initial self referral for specialty care within 28 days.
  5. Wellness = 28 days (e.g., physical examinations, periodic examinations, check-ups, screenings, etc.).
